General Remarks
If you notice you are working both weekend days, fear not: You should not. Simply speak with your team to clarify what weekend day you have off. If you are scheduled for day float, plan to work the day you have day float.
Those starting night float on Sunday night should always have >=24 hours between the scheduled end of their last shift and the start of night float, even if the last shift ended the Saturday prior.
On nights, plan to negotiate with your buddy regarding which nights you would prefer to have off (i.e., either Wednesday or Saturday night). Let the admin chiefs know if this is different than what is reflected on QGenda, as, in most cases, one person will automatically be assigned to receive pages Sunday-Friday, with the other covering Saturday.
You are more than welcome to negotiate whatever swaps you desire - simply email proposals to the admin chiefs for approval.
